Fathers of Manhattan hails from Thousand Oaks, California, a town well known for its fathers and its manhattans. originally consisting of Greg Kestenbaum on guitar, Brian Narvy on bass, Charles Wang on keys, and Calbert Tung on drums, Fathers of Manhattan played around at local shows as a jam band. Later on in Fathers of Manhattan history, Charles would be replaced by a kid who is referred to as grunge kid since no one really knows his name. grunge kid added a vocal element to the band that some critics saw as a crucial piece to the band success puzzle. Unfortunately, in late June 2006, Brian Narvy would be accused of rape, probably stemming from his contract rape business. Charges are pending. In response to the allegations, Grunge Kid revealed his name to be Danny Asa, but fans continue to discuss whether or not this is just another pseudonym. in light of the recent publicity, FoM have retreated to the studio in hopes of drowning out the noise with jam band music.
