Fate's Pride

The band started at late 2008 at the music college of Venezuela „IUDEM (now known as UNEARTE)“ where Joe Costa and James Castle met each other to start writing some guitar parts and songs structures. Later the singer Rod Calcagno (who was at the music college too) join the project and started to write new material along with Joe and James. When the songs began to grow stronger, the need of a drummer and a bass player became very obvious, so Rod contacted his old friend from childhood: drummer Vitto Cavalere who joined the band with great energy. Then bassist Fidias who was at that time in other proyect with Rod joined the band, and the alienation was full and ready to begin their process. Fate‘s Pride combines progressive metal elements along with melodic structures that made a strong combination between aggression and artistic expression through their music and lyrics. Fate‘s Pride is the philosophy to prove yourself that you make your own destiny with a strong conviction in what you do, and everybody in the band share that belief. Now, Fate‘s Pride has 6 songs recorded,several videos on the web and other projects working on right now.
