Fat Sue are 4 young guys from South East London. They make power packed, hi energy indie rock ‘n’ pop music with a panache and personality that belies their youth. A bunch of friends who formed while still at school, the band has quickly grown into a dynamic songwriting team as well as an exciting live experience. The past year has seen the band find its feet on the live circuit, playing some great gigs and festivals including a storming set at last Summer’s first ever Underage Festival. They went on to win the sponsors, Converse and Artrocker Magazine’s online competition to find the best band from the unsigned stage which was voted for by fans. After a quick change of personnel around Christmas, the boys hit the studio with a new drummer and a bunch of fantastic new songs. Teaming up with Producer Colin Emmanuel (who produced The Beta Band’s Mercury Music Prize nominated album “Hot Shots 2”) the band holed up in Miloco to record some demos. Their growing reputation, spread by word of mouth led to them being asked to perform a session at the world famous Abbey Rd Studios for Worldspace.com and XM Radio at the start of the year. An experience that has brought their music to hundreds of thousands of people worldwide.
