Story of Fat Dragon begins in the early 2012 in Belgrade, Serbia, as a duo of a drummer Goran Kragulj and bassist Stefan Njegovanović, influenced by classic heavy metal and thrash bands, their energy and attitude. Finding guitarists and singer took some while, through numerous auditions and tries, but due to lack of commitment, different views and tastes, band remains as rhythm section. The real story took off with joining of guitarist Igor Grkavac, and the band started to play in. Lack of vocals prompted bassist Stefan to fill in as a singer. 2 or 3 months later band added Vladimir Lazović as rhythm guitarist and backing vocals. Now as a formed quartet, band starts to work on their songwriting, doing live gigs as often as possible and preparing for studio recording.
