Farm Fresh is a hip hop group from Brandon, Manitoba, Canada. Made up of mcenroe, Pip Skid, and DJ Hunnicutt they released their first recording The Space EP in 1994. Which was followed by a full length album named Crazy Friction in 1995. The group soon went on hiatus and released a compact disc containing both previous recordings and a few unreleased songs from 1996 called Played Out in 1999. This caused many of fans upset as they thought the group would never record again under the name of Farm Fresh, however, ten years after they first released a recording they announced plans for an anniversary album named Time Is Running Out which came out in March of 2005. All of their albums have been released on the record label they started called Peanuts & Corn Records. Farm Fresh formed in 1991 (started doing stuff in 1993) in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada, stemming from high school friends—Rod “mcenroe” Bailey, Patrick "Pip Skid" Skene, and DJ Tyler "Hunnicutt" Sneesby—who shared a love for skateboarding, weird movies, and hip-hop. Emerging from the band Post Office, they combined prairie life experiences with 90s rap style to create underground Canadian hip-hop Farm Fresh. One of the most unique hip hop groups out there, Farm Fresh had an authentic, DIY approach, which blended "golden age" boom-bap production with a quirky, relatable prairie-Canadian sensibility.
