Much like the mythological Phoenix rising from the ashes, FAR FROM GONE storms onto America’s rock scene resurrected from the ashes of past projects. The old adage goes something like: “You have your whole life to make your first record". Well, in this case FAR FROM GONE brings to the table a lifetime of experience both inside and outside of the music business. With the release of their self titled debut album, FAR FROM GONE has put together a collection of songs that echo a lifetime of being exposed to the music business and all of the ups and downs that life itself brings. This is music for the heart and music for the soul. As a complete D.I.Y. project under no timelines or restrictions, the guys have spent the better part of a year writing, recording and producing some of their best work yet. From fist pumping, heart pounding in your face rock n' roll to completely stripped down and vulnerable ballads this album truly has something for everyone and every emotion. The idea was born when Darick (of Soulicit) and Kevin (of Transmit Now) found themselves off the road and off the musical map. They had enjoyed some success in their respective past projects including Top 40 hits and world tours, but both projects ran their course and left Darick and Kevin rethinking their musical careers.
