Formed in 1970 the line-up was somewhat of a who's who of australian rock. Doug Parkinson : vocals (ex- Questions, In Focus) Vince Maloney : Guitar (ex Billy Thorpe & the Aztecs,Vince Maloney Set,Bee Gees) Teddy Toi : Bass (ex Billy Thorpe & the Aztecs,Max Merrit & The Meteors) Johnny Dick : Drums (ex Billy Thorpe & the Aztecs,Max Merrit & The Meteors,Doug Parkinson In Focus). Fanny Adams cut one album full of hard edged progressive blues-rock that wasn't released until 1971 a year after the band's acrimonious break-up in December of 1970. The catalyst for the bust up was internal dissent & boasting (doug parkinson once boasted to go-set magazine that "in three weeks Fanny Adams will be the best band that ever trod this earth" but the success that was expected never arrived when a fire at Sydney's Caesars' Palace discotheque destroyed every last piece of the bands equipment. Parkinson quit & label MCA were so incensed that they prevented Parkinson recording for 2 years.
