Falsos Conejos is an instrumental trio who began playing together in Buenos Aires in 2006. Their live post rock performances have no pauses between songs, with each song intertwining creating a cinematic atmosphere. They take you on a journey that mixes brute force with subtlety, violent rhythmic breaks "a la Stravinsky" with the minimalist delicacy of cool jazz, and the rawness of Shellac with the sound density of Tango. In their first six years of life they released the LP "YYY" and the EPs "AntiTANGO" and "Sesiones Lunaticas." They have played over two hundred shows in Argentina, Brasil, Colombia and Paraguay. They have been recognized as one of the most important experimental music projects in South America and as one of the independent bands with the most musical circulation on the continent. Falsos Conejos consider themselves to be fundamentalists of independence; in addition to working with their own musical venture, they also are an important collaborator for cultural exchange in South America. They have been producing and joining forces with other international music groups helping foreign bands bring their tours to the continent like: Vallina (from Austria in 2012), Camarones Orquesta Guitarristica (2011 and 2012), Pata de Elefante (from Brazil in 2011), the first studio recording of 4Instrumental (Brazil) that took place in Buenos Aires, Macaco Bong (from Brazil in 2009).
