Falls was formed in Central Virginia by William Matheny(bass/vocals),James Henderson(guitar/vocals), Matthew Crittenden(guitar/vocals), and Chris Brown (drums) in the early months of 2001. They were heavily influenced by bands such as Four Hundred Years, Engine down, Twelve hour turn, Saetia and I Hate Myself. They went on a brief road trip with Light the Fuse and Run and The Funeral Diner in the fall of 2002 and played with bands such as The Assistant and Hot Cross. The band formally annouced their split shortly after in December of 2002. They played one last show a few months later (Feb) in Richmond VA. A Reunion show was alos held during the summer of 2004. Members went on to play with other bands (Mean girls, Mouth Breather, The Escapists and Race the Sun) All members still remain close friends and currently reside in Richmond.
