Fall of Tears is a poetry reading hardcore/screamo band hailing from Chiba, Japan. The band was formed in May 2017 by vocalist Mochinaga and guitarists Hiiro and Koide. They were later joined by bassist Miyauchi and drummer Takefuji, completing the lineup. Fall of Tears aims to create a unique musical experience influenced by a range of genres, including emotional hardcore, post-rock, and poetry reading. In July 2017, Fall of Tears played their first live performance at Morioka Club Change, marking the beginning of their journey as a band. The following year, in January 2018, they released their first EP titled “landscape". This debut release was followed by their first self-planned event called "Sacred Play Secret Place vol.1" at Shinjuku Nine Spice. In July 2019, bassist Miyauchi joined Fall of Tears, solidifying their lineup and contributing to the band's evolving sound. September 2019 saw the release of their second EP, "The flowers withered,Their color faded away”, accompanied by their successful event "Sacred Play Secret Place vol.2" held at Shibuya The Game. The event garnered significant attention, attracting over 300 attendees and achieving a sold-out status, surpassing the audience of their previous event. December 2019 marked the release of Fall of Tears' first single, "Dead Flower”, which was made available as a limited digital release.
