Vocals - Daniel De Jesus Vocals - Daniel Keighery Guitar - Josh Renjen Guitar - Joshua Gemmell Bass - Zico Hua Drums - Shane Bennell Fail The Abstract is a 6-piece Experimental Post-Hardcore band from Melbourne, formed from former members of Thieves & I Sleep You Dance. Since our inception in 2013, we have been honoured to share the stage with high caliber bands such as Alesana (USA), Fit For a King (USA), Misery Signals (USA), Stories, Buried in Verona, Save The Clock Tower and many more. The release of our three 2013 singles have seen us reach fans from both interstate and internationally, an achievement we never saw coming in our short existence. Currently, we are gearing up to drop our debut EP 'Mirrors' very shortly. We spent time with renowned producer Sonny Truelove at STL Studios to record our debut EP in early 2014. Furthermore, embarking on our first interstate tour (WA Tour – May 2014) provided us with a great experience that only propelled us further to deliver music of a high quality along with a tight live performance. Working with Neal Walters (Three Productions) on our debut music video, Patience, has granted us a great amount of exposure and attention, something we are extremely proud of. As this year comes to a close, we look forward to pushing Fail The Abstract to new limits, bringing you new music, tours, and merchandise.
