Faheem Abdullah is a multidisciplinary artiste from Srinagar, India. He made his debut as a singer-songwriter in 2020 with the single Jhelum, and has since explored a wide range of genres including Blues, Psychedelic Rock, Dream Pop, Funk, Sufi Rock, and Ghazal. Deeply inspired by his Kashmiri roots, Faheem draws from regional music, literature, and poetry. He believes in absolute freedom of expression and sees music as a tool for social reflection and positive change. For him, music is more than art — it is a spiritual practice, a way to connect with something higher. As he says, “Music has made me feel more than any living being has… it's an effort to please God in my own way.” His latest release is the title track for the 2025 film Saiyaara, composed and performed in collaboration with Arslan Nizami.
