Artist
Faelwa plays introvert dark folk rock based on acoustic instruments. Mark Kwint: Guitar, Bouzouki, Bass, Vocals Jasper Strik: Piano, Mellotron, Whispers The goal of the two Dutch musicians is to write music where melancholic feelings are intensified. The first thing people can hear from Faelwa is their m-cd ‘Farewell Sun’. The recordings reflect nature’s majesty, folkloric themes and sadness. Although they mostly play acoustic, you can hear Faelwa have got roots in metal music. This can be heard in the song structures and in some arrangements. The members also share a big sympathy for folk music, which is often audible in the melodies. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
