There are a couple of acts that are named Facts of Life: 1. An American Soul/Disco group formed by producer Millie Jackson, whose members were Jean Davis (sister of Tyrone Davis), Keith Williams, & John Carter. They signed to independent label Kayvette Records, and a single, "Caught In The Middle", got airplay on Southern US radio stations but did not chart. Their 2nd single was "Sometimes", a remake of country singer Bill Anderson's smash hit. Their version hit #3 on the Billboard R&B Singles chart and #31 on Billboard's Hot 100 in1977. As a result of the single's success, Kayvette rushed the album's release, resulting in a bad pressing (the outer cover contained many spelling errors). RCA Records picked up Facts of Life in 1978. Unfortunately, their 2nd album was not very successful, resulting in Facts of Life breaking up. Discography: Albums: A Matter Of Time (Kayvette Records - 1977); Billboard Top 200 album chart #146, R&B Album chart #33 Sometimes (RCA Records - 1978); Billboard R&B Album chart # 54 Singles: Sometimes (1977); Billboard R&B Singles chart #3, Billboard Hot 100 #31 2.
