Factor VIII is a punk rock band from the Republic of Panama. Originally founded as a hardcore outfit in 1994, Factor has released 2 full-length records and several EP’s and appeared on several compilations throughout their 11 years of existence. Currently Factor VIII has been on the road for the greater part of this year (2006) promoting their very anticipated new album titled “Agenda”. This has taken the band to most all of Panama’s neighboring countries and some parts of the US. Released independently by the band on their own label (Factor VIII, inc.), “Agenda” was recorded in Panama city by David Colindres and mastered at West West Side Music (New York, NY) by Alan Douches (widely recognized for his work with Alkaline Trio, Thrice, Dillinger Escape Plan, Atreyu, Saves the Day, Snapcase, Hot Water Music, Pantera, The Promise Ring, Misfits, Strike Anywhere, Day Music Died...), it contains 10 tracks of loud, fun, high-energy punk-infused rock n' \roll.
