about

Face The West are an Electro Celtic band from the Isle Of Lewis. Starting out in 1998 while in school, Face The West has been going strong for 13 years consists of 4 core members, Keith Morrison (Keyboards, Piano, Synths), Alasdair Maclean (Accordion), David Calum Macmillan (Drums) and Jane Hepburn (Fiddle), swelling their ranks when past members are available to join. Despite their 'fresh appearance' Face The West have paid their dues and have a lifetimes worth of gigging experience recognised when they received a nomination for LIVE ACT OF THE YEAR at the 2009 Scots Trad Music Awards. Face The West has just released their third album "The Young Fear Nothing" which has received nothing but impressive reviews. The best-kept secret in modern Celtic music, their apparent enthusiasm and infectious spirit leaves each and every member of the audience buzzing. Not just a band; an experience.
