Fabio Ursillo (born late 17th century in Rome; died 1759 Tournai ) was an Italian composer and lutenist. Ursillo stayed in Rome around 1720. A short time later he met Count Franz Ernst von Salm-Reifferscheidt (1698–1770) there or in Naples. When he became bishop of Tournai in 1725 , he remained in his service. Ursillo frequently changed his posts, so he worked in France from 1730, returned to the service of the Bishop of Tournai in 1733, worked at the court of Württemberg from 1744 and worked in Tournai again from 1746. The bishop guaranteed him an annual salary of £1,200 from that point on, plus room, food, lamp oil and clothing.
