1) Future Shock (not to be confused with UK electronica duo Futureshock) are a hip-hop group from San Diego, California. Debuting in 1996, it includes members Sojourn, Ahred, Capture, Ajax Starglider and DJ DNA. They are former members of the Tunnel Rats crew. 2) Future Shock was a fusion band from the Netherlands that existed between 1985 and 1998 comprised of a four-piece brass section consisting of saxophonist Maarten van Norden, Rutger van Otterloo (alto and baritone saxophone), Willem Van Manen (trombone) and Wouter van Bemmel (trumpet) along with additional members on rhythm instruments plus guest musicians. Led by Maarten van Norden as the main composer, the group incorporated funk and salsa into its jazz-rock compositions. Their final album was released in 1991. 3) Future Shock is a punk rock band from Chicago, Illinois. 4) Future Shock is a hardcore band from San Antonio, Texas.
