Merriwether used to record things as Ryder, but decided a few years back it was good to simultaneously drop the name-sharing with some sort of classic rock act and to ditch his reliance on sampled beats. He also used to be a member of Formerly Known as Oedipusaurus Rex, Frubulous Snacktime, Bosse-de-Nage, Kill Yr.
