Rising from the ashes of many past acts, EyesCatchFire hails from the Lincoln/Omaha area. A fist in your face blend of poppy/screamo vocals and catchy lyrics, finishes the fight with melodic/driving guitar riffs that could hook JAWS. You will either fall in love with or be blown away by a live performance that looks you in the eye and screams PASSION and HEART with every song. Guitar spins, 40” verticals, hands in the air, bloody fingers and eyes don’t even begin to scratch the surface of the energy produced by this 5 piece freefall of the heart. EyesCatchFire is a crowd pleaser, and has no other motives than to make you feel what they’re all about…the love of music and friendships. Still playing bass in one of Omaha’s favorite rock bands ILLICIT, his phone was off the hook with the calling to play the guitar. A few replies and some homemade songs later, Jet emailed back with a reply for singer. Already taken part in a garage band with future ECF bassist Phillip he was currently singing in a prog/rock band THE ANGEL PROGRESS and wasn’t happy with the energy and role of just standing and singing.
