Artist
Exquisite Russian Brides trades in free flowing fields of friendly blissnoise, from soft spaces produced by cello and accordion to more insistent, beat-driven creations. Sometimes it is a solo project for Marc Kellaway on various instruments and tapes, but often it is a collabrational efford. No matter what, his/our goal is the sweet overload. Out now is the fist LP from the brides, with a 7" on BSBTA comming late 2006/early 2007. Closely related is a duo with Tanja Jessen (guitar and vocals) named Exquisite Russian Blues, who specialices in free form songs of sex and beauty, and abstract cover versions of Einstürzende Neubauten and Prince. The duos debut cdr will be out late 2007.
