Rising from the suburban sprawl of Las Vegas, Nevada come Expert On October, a quartet of gangly libertines addicted to stretching the limits of melody without losing its sweet spot. Expert On October is their debut full-length, an album which has earned the band a dedicated following of fans and critics alike who appreciate the groups desire to write music that is fresh and without ego. Expert On October, formed in the summer of 1998, has spent most of their time together writing, recording, and producing its eponymous debut. Since then, the band has shifted its concentration to playing as many live shows as possible.
