Philadelphia’s Best Kept Secret (But Not For Long!) Self-described as, “In your face rock with an incredible female vocalist”, Evro is an alternative rock band from Philadelphia that can’t be ignored. This four member band has been compared to Paramore and Evanescence, but the truth is they have a sound that is completely their own. Evro’s unique and energizing sound can be attributed to the creative influences that each band member brings to the table. For band members Chris Defusco (drummer), Matt Gordon (guitartist), and Brian Vail (bassist) this is their third collective musical endeavor over the years. A chance meeting with vocalist Janelle Korkus brought them back together in what can only be described as a perfect storm of musical talent. Evro is a staple in the Philadelphia music scene, and has shared the stage with many well known artists. Their recent addition to The Spencer Bell Legacy Concert line-up has brought them international acclaim, appearing in both Dallas and Detroit to sold out crowds, while the concerts are Live-streamed to over 12,000 fans worldwide. Evro quickly became a fan favorite with audiences in Europe, Austrailia, and South America. There first self-titled album was released in the Fall of 2009, and the band is diligently working on a second album to be released in the Spring of 2011.
