Who, you might ask, is Evan Wish? If you follow Contemporary Classical music at all, you might recognize the name. You might have caught snatches of his music on the radio. Somebody sometime might have mentioned a blue-eyed, blond composer/pianist with a laid-back manner whose approach to music is unlike anyone else's; who's alive with imagination and feeling that has an emotionally healing effect on his listeners. But even if you haven't heard of him, if you stop for a minute and really focus on it, deep-down I'll bet you do know Evan Wish. I'm convinced he's buried in an area of your mind and heart you may not realize you even possess. Now, I can understand if you think that statement is some kind of trick, a tacky come-on to get you to buy his music. But it's not. This is very different. Even if you have not listened to his two Top 10 charting albums worlwide -- "Lullaby of love" (2004) and "Forget-me- not, blue" (2010) -- or attended one of his concerts locally or in Europe, I truly believe you have an elegant, empathetic piece of this tender-toned, mellifluous artist's vibe lodged in your sublime but largely unaware subconscious. What I mean, of course, is that because Evan puts his aura out there, via his music, his essence touches the universal core of everyone -- the core that, floating in the vast, collective sea of all human consciousness, is delirious with the pure joy of existence.
