Evan Parker (born April 5, 1944) is an improvisational saxophonist from the UK. He is one of Europe's leading improvisers. This year (2019), he is visiting Japan accompanying Schlippenbach. Barry Guy (born April 22, 1947) is also a bass player from the UK. Both were active in the Spontaneous Music Ensemble, one of the UK's leading free jazz bands.
