Eugen Doga or Evgheni Doga is the most famous Moldovan contemporary composer. He was born on March 1, 1937 in the village Mocrea Transnistria (the then USSR, now in district Ribnita, Moldova). He studied at the School of Music Stefan Neaga . At 13, he has literally barefoot in Chisinau to be registered at the College of Music. He was enrolled in the class of cello and was lucky to have a great teacher - Pablo Pacini, scion of a dynasty of Italian musicians. After college, he studied at the Conservatory in the class of cello (1960) and composition (1965)of Professor Solomon Lobelia. He was a member of the CPSU. Eugen Doga began his musical career as a member of the orchestra of the Moldovan National redisseminators, then taught at the College of Music in Chisinau, it was an official at the Ministry of Culture. He was elected into the legislature of Moldova and in the Supreme Soviet of the USSR. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Composers of the USSR, and vice-president of the Composers Union of Moldova. Eugen Doga work in film music and became one of the most famous composers of movie and TV films in post-Soviet space. He started in Moldova-film studio film in 1967, signing a music comedy Wanted guard. He wrote music to over 200 movies: “Wedding at the palace”, “Alone in the love”, “Ten winters in a summer”, “delayed explosion”, “Length of Day”, “House for Serafim”, “Fiddlers “,” Queen of the Gypsies “,” delicate and tender my beast “,” Anna Pavlova
