Ethereal Planes Indian is B.C. Smith, an enduring fixture of Austin, Texas’ underground psych scene having performed with groups like The Iron Kite, The Friday Group and The Primordial Undermind. He also runs the Twilight Flight Sound label which put out EPI’s Smoke Signals release in 2006. This album incorporates elements of drone, psychedelia and folk, featuring some lush instrumentals that ascend you to a Native American cosmic landscape. There is in addition a healthy dose of uplifting psych guitar and rattling bells that shimmers to the surface throughout this delightfully evocative record.
