Born and raised in Cincinnati OH, Ethan Schultz fell into playing music by complete accident. After his elder sister's failed attempt at learning the guitar, Ethan started to jam on the neighbor's guitar. It was love at first sight (minus the mushy details). Ethan never joined up with a group of musicians. He played with many people through his junior high and high school years, but never set foot in what the people of today call a "band." Soon, Schultz discovered the great perk of the college life, an abundance of free-time. With these extra moments, he writes music and plays for the passerbys in the hall. Ethan was also inspired by many genres of music (noting, he probably will never just play only one kind of music). From the power and thrill of Against Me! to the refreshing folk sound of Tegan and Sara, Ethan grew to love music more and more. He is searching for more musicians to play with.
