Akseli Hiltunen and Eetu Aalto were searching for a new band after the destruction of their former project "Musta Laatikko". In the winter/spring of 2005 they found Severi Koivusalo and asked him to join the band, Estaog was born. However, they still needed a second guitarist to make them sound more versatile. First Niko Ollikainen played with them for a while, but he just somehow disappeared from the band´s crew. Juha Jalonen was asked to join in and he played with Estaog for a whole year. During the year, Estaog played a few shows around and they recorded their first EP "Aistiharhoja". Unfortunately during the spring of 2006 Juha became more busier all the time and didn't have time for the band and in the beginning of August, he left the band. After few weeks we asked Niko if he would want to join the band again and he was really enthusiastic about it and joined in. During the autumn Estaog had a couple gigs and in the beginning of 2007 Estaog released their second EP "Tekopyhiinvaeltaja". In spring, summer and autumn 2007, Estaog played lots of gigs and trained harder than ever. Lots of new songs were also made and in May 2008 Estaog celebrated their 3-year career by releasing a new minialbum Chorea.
