Originally formed sometime mid to late 2004 in Aurora, Colorado, Esprit de Corps began with Chris Gardner on guitar and vocals, Craig Gardner on drums, and Matthew Taylor also on guitar and vocals. Soon after their incepetion, they added Alexander Cutbirth on keys. During the summer of 2005, Matt left the band and Cullen Dammann was added on bass. They broke up in October of 2006. Chris Gardner, Craig Gardner, and Alex Cutbirth worked to reform the band in February of 2007 and soon added Dave Engele on guitar and Kevin Wesley on bass. Not long after this stage of the band was created, problems with drugs and the law forced the members to somewhat disband. In the lull new music was written and theEDC emerged once again. In 2008 a rebirth was paralleled with the release of the most comprehensive Esprit de Corps recording to date titled 'Under Constant Influence.' The band's permanent fixtures are Craig Gardner, drums, Alexander Cutbirth, keys, Chris Gardner, vocals and guitar, Jhonn Thomason, bass, and Gordon Joins, guitar.
