Espen Sande Larsen (born 23 July 1979) is a singer-songwriter from Tønsberg, Norway. He started to play the piano at a very young age, and contiuned to develop his skills as a musician during his childhood and teen years. Because of his intense interest in music, he learned to play several instruments, and took on different roles playing in several bands and touring with different acts. Most notably he played bass, guitars and organ for his well-known older brother: Lillebror Sande Larsen. He fell in love with blues and jazz piano at an early age. His father was a locally recognized jazz-pianist and Espen took to it like a natural. He continued to pursue a solo career as an entertainer, travelling throughout Norway playing large and small venues. He also had prominent roles in several musical productions throughout his teens. Espen is primarily songwriter and has written songs throughout most of his life. In 2012 he was a contestant on the norwegian version of "The Voice". In June 2014 Espen released the first single from his debut-album: Beautiful Babies. A mellow ballad with a fatherhood theme. The song was written the same night that Espen and his wife got their first son (May 2008), because of complications Espen had to assist the delivery. The overwhelming emotions inspired the song.
