Espejos Muertos

Espejos Muertos is a band with songs mostly influenced by rock music and successfully integrating styles such as post punk and blues. Their lyrics are very dark and dramatic, inspired by altered states of mind, so well described by the master Edgar Allan Poe. And this altogether molds a very particular style of their own, which has been defined by themselves as “Rock de Cementerios”. But they also perform acclaimed acoustic live shows, as always with their characteristically and theatric attitude. They have participated in several shows and festivals arranged by municipal authorities and by cultural NOGs and have been present in compilations released in and outside Chile. This year were also chosen as one of the 5 top independent bands from Santiago among hundreds of contestants, in one of the most important rock bands competition. And finally they were sharing stage with the remarkable musician Lucas Lanthier last October during his show in Santiago de Chile. The independent producer Santiago Decay has recently joined the adventure as agent of the band and co-produced their first EP, a 4 track piece only released in Chile.
