Tim Sternat aka Factor E. Ofone was a DJ at KPFT in Houston from 1978 to 1981, after which he started playing music on his own. In 1987 he founded Esoterica Landscapes 7 with Jim Wilson and Bonnie McNairn, which lasted until 1991, Jim and Bonnie later founded Voice of Eye.
