The Band Esa-Zecken was founded in the Autumn of 2001 in Eisenach, a dozy small town, directly on the A4 near the Thuringian-Hessian frontier. The five young and talented Musicians known each other already from concerts, partys and partially earlier band projects. Enough stage experience they collected for example in bands like Systemstörung, Auszeit, Koma, Fuckin' Faces and Lost Life! The new concept was: playing true German Punkrock, making music without ceremony, having fun, coming out and get to know many people. An Esa-Zecken gig shouldn't be a labored concert, but a party for everyone! The boys succeed with that, what's due to their theory with going on the things without stress and with fun, like it should be in an oldschool Punkband.
