Erlend Loe Erlend Loe (born May 24, 1969 in Trondheim) is a Norwegian novelist. He debuted in 1993 with the book Tatt av Kvinnen and a year later published a children's book Fisken about a truck driver named Kurt. Loe has a distinctive style of writing which is often characterised as naive. He often uses irony, exaggeration and humor. His popular novel Naiv. Super. has been translated into 13 languages.
