Erik Håkansson was born and raised in Örebro, Sweden. He became interested in music after he began listening to trance, ultimately deciding to create his own music. Experimenting with different software, he’s learned by trial and error, as well as searching on the internet. In the beginning, though, he tried out many styles of music, learning as he went, but his favorite genres turned out to be trance and house. The individual sound of his tracks varies quite a bit, but what they have in common is their emotional energy and uplifting melodies. In March 2009, Erik released his first track, ‘Summer Vibe’ on the Belgian label, Trance4m8. It’s available from most digital download stores, and on CD from Cdj-shop.
