Eric Swenson was raised in the great lakes region of upstate New York. Always a lover of arts and entertainment, he didn't begin playing guitar until age 16. It was shortly after that point that he migrated to Boston and graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in music industry. Through the years he's developed a very wide taste in music and dabbles in many different genres. His primary influences stem from rock, pop, prog and jam music and he does his best to blend them into his music. Eric has been involved in various projects, most notably as the frontman of his former prog/jam band Boston Molasses Disaster. As the group's primary songwriter, he provided a dynamic foundation for the band to develop their sound and chemistry. Despite a lifespan of almost 2 years, Boston Molasses Disaster failed to release any studio material. With a focus on live performance, the band played many dates through the northeast including sharing the stage with Eli "Paperboy" Reed at The Middle East Downstairs for their unofficial final show. Since the band's retirement, Eric has found renewed inspiration and passion to develop and refine his sound. With hopes to compile repertoire for his next project, he has plans to release a plethora of new music and recordings along the way.
