Artist
There are two different artists with the same name of Eric Lamb. (1.) This one lives in San Diego. Born in Ohio, Eric was raised listening to his mother singing everything from Ray Charles to Tammy Wynette. This constant influence was enhanced by the British Invasion of the '60's. By then he was playing around the Northern part of the Midwest in venues on military bases and smalltown armories. After a couple government paid trips to the Orient, he moved for a few years to Hawaii. From there, to Los Angeles and it's growing punk, new wave & rock resurgence of the '80's and crazy club scene. Eventually ending up along the San Diego coastline, he now writes melodic, meditative songs influenced by the ocean that has become so much of his home. Influences are The Beatles, all the early Motown and Stax artists, Freddie King, Peter Green, Eric Clapton, Paul Kossoff, most american blues artists, Max Gronenthal, Paul Rodgers & Mick Taylor to name a few... 'Mermaids' & 'Adrift' are very relaxing, soothing CD's that have been used in the holistic field in many forms of meditation. 'The Lost Demo Tapes' is a collection of his early songwriting years and the various types of songs he writes, ranging from Rock to Country. (2.)
