Eric Ekman first began playing in front of crowds in Smithers, British Columbia with a church choir called the Harmonettes in the 1950's. He played with various bands in northern towns like Terrace and Prince Rupert from the 60's through to the late 90's. Ekman currently lives in Victoria, producing the occasional song in his home recording studio.
