Artist
Erased Files, the combined talents of Joshua Latham and David Zulaica, first collaborated in 2004 after a couple years of playing with their respective bands in the Los Angeles indie rock scene, performing at venues such as Mr. T’s Bowl, The Scene Bar, Silverlake Lounge, and Spaceland. In 2007, Erased Files released a collection of songs recorded between 2004 and 2007. Since then, the duo relocated to Portland, OR and quietly released “Trunk Volume” in early 2020. Situated in the post-rock and electronic genres, Erased Files takes inspiration from vintage synthesizers, progressive-psychedelic rock, electronic hip hop beats, and 80’s film scores. Crafting a sound that is equally modern and retro - a blend of synth-pop, shoegaze, and cinematic influences. Fans of Vangelis, Tycho, Boards of Canada, Jon Hopkins, Pink Floyd, Emancipator, Com Truise, and M83 may also enjoy Erased Files.
