There are 3 projects called Epos: 1) Epos is a name of a project of 2 german dj's and producers: Roger P. Shah & Pedro Del Mar. So far they released three tracks behind this alias called "Vivagio" 2005, "Adagio Espressivo" 2007 & "All Saints Day" 2009 2) Epos (aka Epos 7116) is a one man band from Milan, Italy. His music spaces from power metal to epic metal to prog metal. It's very difficult to classify Epos music into a unique style. Epos has released only a 3 songs EP called Between myth and history, which can be listened at http://www.myspace.com/eposmetal. 3) Epos is the name of a Russian ensemble which recorded a 4-track avantgarde prog composition in 1988, which was composed by Russian composer Aleksander Sledin. "Ilia" is a highly interesting album featuring Russian folk influenced avantgarde progrock, sometimes close to classic music. Half of the CD constists of haunting vocal arrangements (without instruments) giving you the feeling to stand somewhere in Russian mountains or in an orthodox church. Overall an unique, outstanding and extremely atmospheric CD far away from usual prog clichees.
