about

Formed in 2007 in Toronto, Canada, Epigram's playing experience ranges from punk to pop to everything in between. The band played its first show last summer with Boston's Caspian and Junius, followed by several shows in Toronto and southern Ontario with Holoscene, Tunturia, Now Yr Taken, and Proeliis Fere, to name a few. "New comers to the experimental music scene Epigram, whose sound is in the vein of Explosions in the Sky, filled the Ballroom with a wall of instrumental post-rock that held the crowd spell bound." BlogTO 09/14/07- on the band's set at Son/Lumiere Gladstone Hotel. Now, after a year under their belt, the band continues to captivate and increase their fan base, generate a dynamic tonality and polish an already refined sound. A full length album, "Anything That Comes to Mind", is set to be released in October of 2008.
