The Enuma Elis was born in St. Louis, out of the ashes of Waxwork of a Dynasty(James Flanigan) and The Kai Tungata (Garrett Mullin and Casey Oliver). Chris Muether mentioned that his cousin was looking for a band to play with and that's how Ryan Bach entered into the band. They then found another friend to come in as another vocalist; Jeremy Pollard. They practiced in a small room with on the third floor of a shitty building next to a club that brought in shitty jam bands. This is where they clumsily put together songs, which had a lot of life in them, but due to the inability to maintain a steady practice schedule, they were usually sloppy. I forgot when exactly the date of the first show was, but it was a good start to a slow climb. They moved to Chicago shortly after. Dan Pozzie had a short stint in the band but left due to personal reasons. They met their good buds in Lautrec and did some shows here and there with them as well. They found Kevin von Flotow to fill in on bass for a bit, but left after a while. Then Jeremy left due to financial and family troubles. So After a year of trial and tribulations they finally got a recording done. This is where we stand now. There is another (one man) band called Enuma Elis. Enuma Elis history starts in 1999 in Galicia (Spain) when DFV aka Enlil almost by chance took a PC program for making music. The name of this application was Impulse Tracker 2.14. This tracker is based in mods and feeded by the already obsolete MS-Dos opera
