After having given the Conservatory up, due to some differences of view, from 1997 Luigi M. progressively starts going away from band musical activity as well to concentrate exclusively on the three main projects of his: F.ormal L.ogic D.ecay, Furvus and then En Velours Noir. The last one springs from the desire to blend nostalgic rètro atmospheres with gothic music and decadent lyrics through a constant avant-garde compositive-research work and sonorous experimentation which brought the project to produce during the last years stuff stylistically heterogeneous and cineastic for sure, but always chiselled on the deepest Spleen Aegis.
