In 2004, En Vélo rose from the ashes of the former grunge collective Toxic. From that moment, the band experimented heavily with their sound, using violins, piano and bluesharp. The Grunge roots stayed, but little by little were replaced with american folk and indierock. Meanwhile, the band has played many shows, involving local festivals like Popshock in Varsseveld and Bleekpop in Doetichem. In 2006 the band came out second in the competition Popprijs van de Achterhoek. A few months later they recorded their first EP Goodbye France. Followed by their second demo Could you tell me the story once again? in december 2008. The latest edition to the En Vélo music collection entitled "Death of a ladies man" Wil be released on the sixth of april 2012. Reunited with the sexappeal boost thats called Rozemarijn They're ready to climb the stages once more.
