over the past few years, emuul has released a string of cassettes from some of the most influential labels in the underground (stunned, digitalis, anathema sound, monorail trespassing, sweat lodge guru, avant archive). in august 2011, his vinyl debut, 'the drawing of the line', was unleashed by digitalis industries, as well as his most recent cassette work 'two studies for order and chaos' by tranquility tapes. using each release to explore differing sonic palates and moods, these works have ranged from solo piano explorations, minimal ambient drift, haunting instrumentals, on to searing walls of harsh noise. never to be pinned down, the tools can embrace anything lying around: analog synthesizers, pianos, melodica, acoustic and electric guitar, as well as voice.
