Artist
There are at least three artists with this name: A trio from Tokyo, Japan, a Chicago-based producer and a San Francisco-based duo. All three groups can be categorized somewhere in the genre of experimental electronica. The Tokyo group started as a large ensemble with nearly ten members. They toured the United States in 2005. They have released several CDs domestically, including Pelican Eel Finds a Light, which is available on Last.fm Chicago producer Emulsion (Nathan Koch) was originally known for his dark ambient and industrial experiments on the Death of the Author EP (2003) but after a year hiatus has returned with Blue Sky Objective, an album more in the vein of melodic song-based idm and electro artists like Solvent, Casino vs. Japan, and Ulrich Schnauss. The San Francisco duo released Sounding Rockets in 2002. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
