Emotiquon are synthesizer-crazed duo Mr Dimensional and Mr Mechanoid, from Maybole in Ayrshire, Scotland. The two met whilst training as double-decker bus drivers in Glasgow, learning only of each other's musical interests whilst hurtling under a low bridge at a terrifying speed! Emotiquon mix quirky technomelodies with speakertickling synthesized bass lines and complex drum programming, producing a unique and often comedic blend of electro-house and wobblegroove (by connecting their brains using a complex system of car batteries, metal collanders, jump leads, and a large vat of neon pink flavoured jelly!) They have so far impressed Hot Chip, Bomb The Bass, and Heaven 17 (who asked them to remix one of their latest tracks), and are continually on the lookout for new strange sounds and rhythms.
