UK band formed by Oliver Cox & Kristian D'Arney in 1995. The band has been though many transformations since their original set up as a three piece dance/rock act before finally ending with their mellow rock sound which consisted of Oli Cox (Vocals/Perc), Kristian 'Darn' D'Arney (Guitar), Simon 'Bass Dude' Asker (Bass), Paul 'Drummer Paulie' Williams (Drums) & Paul 'Wigsta' Neville (Keys). Emo Octopus approached music in a light hearted manner and were known for the somewhat lively antics of frontman Cox. 10 years, 7 albums, 1 DVD, hundreds of gigs, more songs than an Ipod, 100's of bruised knees, hundreds of broken guitar strings, hundreds of friends, gallons of sweat...
