Emily Bezar is an American singer, composer, and pianist based in California. She studied at the Oberlin Conservatory and Stanford University in opera and electronic music, and combines her formal training with rock and jazz in her recordings. Between 1993 and 2008 she released five albums, varying from start electronic experimentation to lush Classical-inflected lyricism, with hints of jazz and progressive rock.
